On 19 Jun 2013 Al-Qaeda attacked in the UN's missions in Somalia. According to the sources 15 people were killed, nine suicide bombers or attackers and six others including three UN guard. It is being said that It was the most significant attack on the UN's mission in Somalia. There was a 90 minutes crossfiring and then the government troops, African Union peacekeepers and UN security regained the control of the office complex.
