"Gautama Buddha" was the founder of "Buddhism" and the followers of Buddhism are called as Buddhist monks or monks. They are not allowed to eat meat, but they are also not allowed to reject the food, which is given to them. Gautama Buddha said that rejecting a food is a sin. They can't cook their food by themselves, they eat whatever is given to them by the people.
