Does fire needs only oxygen to burn?

    No, oxygen is essential for a substance to burn but it is not the only thing that is required as fire needs heat, fuel and adequate amount of heat to burn. The elemental form of oxygen only supports combustion and will not support combustion in any compound e.g. water (H2O) is a compound of oxygen but doesn't support combustion.
