Amino acids are the organic compounds which are composed of amine and carboxylic acid. A total of nine amino acids is considered essential for our body, including Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine and Lysine, and twelve amino acids are considered non essential amino acids as they can be produced as and when required by our body. Amino acids build protein in our body and enables the cells to maintain their structure.
