    "Actinide" is a group of 15 chemical elements with similar chemical properties and has the atomic number from 89 to 103. Their names are Actin­ium, Thor­ium, Protac­tinium, Ura­nium, Neptu­nium, Pluto­nium, Ameri­cium, Curium, Berkel­ium, Califor­nium, Einstei­nium, Fer­mium, Mende­levium, Nobel­ium and Lawren­cium. Actinides are radioactive elements and release energy upon radioactive decay.
