    The almond is one of the widely cultivated seeds in the South and East Asia and it belongs to the Rosaceae family. A total of 18 types of seeds are found in Almonds including Tryptophan, Threonine, Isoleucine and Leucine. It is considered as one of the richest vegetarian sources of protein as it contains 21.22 grams of protein in every 100 grams of Almonds.
