    Assuming you're on Windows Vista, 7 or 8: 1. Right-click desktop > New > Shortcut 2. In the text box type: 3. "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution" (without the quotation marks) 4. Click Next 5. Rename it 6. Click Finish
