It is believed that Chess was originated in Eastern India with the name "chaturaṅga" during the Gupta empire. Chess is a strategy board game that involves only two players. Both the players start this game with 16 pieces includes one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.
