    Yes, drinking is harmful, especially after the workout. You need to re-hydrate your body after workout and body take time to re-hydrate and recover from that. Alcohol may affect your ability to train and cause other health problems like stomach ache etc. So you are suggested not to drink too much after a workout, You can drink 1 or 2 drinks but with good quality of food and water.
