Yes that's true that according to some recent rests at japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant it has been found that the groundwater out there contains high levels of toxic radioactive isotopes. i.e the level of strontium-90 level was 30 times its permitted level while the radioactive isotope tritium level was also detected as high. According to the scientists they need to some research to know the exact effects of this increased level of radioactive Isotope.
