Scientists of Australia discovered a crystalline structure, purple and translucent mineral called Putnisite. It is mainly found on Volcanic rock. It occurs as tiny crystals, smaller than 0.5 mm in diameter. It is made with unique combination such as Strontium (Sr), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Sulphur (S), Carbon (C), Oxygen (O) and Hydrogen (H) and its distinctive formula is ""SrCa4Cr83+(CO3)8SO4(OH)16.25H2O"".
