    Flavonoids are the chemical compound which is found in plants and is also called as vitamin P. Some of the rich vegetarian sources of flavonoids are: Broccoli, Strawberries, Brussels Sprouts, Garlic and Spinach. There are many health benefits of flavonoids and they are: >> Regular intake of flavanoid rich foods can reduce the risk of many chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes mellitus and celiac disease. >> It improves our vascular inflammatory mechanisms and regulate arterial blood pressure. >> It reduces free radical damage as it is a powerful antioxidant.
