Yes on 16 July 2013, during joint exercise with Australia's military, the two U.S AV-8B Harrier fighter jet pilots were forced to drop the four unarmed bombs during a training exercise gone wrong last week into Australia’s Great Barrier Reef Marine Park which is listed as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations and located off the northeast coast of Australia. However the bombs didn’t explode, but environmentalists went crazy, accusing the act as an unbearable assault on a global natural treasure. U.S. Navy officials said on 22.07.13 that officials may retrieve the bombs shortly.
