JAR files stand for JAVA Archive files which is a file format used to combine all the Java class files and the connected resources into one file. These files are the essential archive files which are based on the ZIP file format and have the (.Jar) file extension. All the programmers can create or extract these files by using the jar command which comes along with JDK (Java development kit).
