"Web standards" are the rules and regulations, which were established by World Wide Web (W3C) that aims to improve the consistency in the design code of a web page. These are the technical specifications that define the aspects of World Wide Web. It is basically guidelines for web pages, which determines how to display the contents to the visitor on the website and it includes interoperability, accessibility and usability of web pages.
