    The probation period is a period given to new employees to evaluate his/her performance and conduct on the job. This period usually runs from 6 to 12 months, but it can run from 30 days to several years, it depends on the business or the rules of the company. If an employee does not perform well in probation period, then he/she can be removed from his position or job. A company has the right to terminate the employee without giving any warning in this period.
