    According to Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS) and as on January 25, 2013 "2 to the power 57,885,161 − 1" or "M57885161" is the biggest prime number. The number has 17,425,170 digits in total. For detail you may refer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Largest_known_prime_number

    Curtis Cooper, a computer science professor at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg recently discovered a longest prime number with 17,425,170 digits. The new number is 2 multiplied by itself 57,885,161 times, minus 1.
