When a bowler oversteps the crease while bowling a no ball is given, a free hit is allowed to the batsman. In this rule a batsman can't be out until he is run out and can hit the ball anywhere on the ground. This rule is introduced in ODI's and T20's. This rule was introduced in 2007.
