To Rocky, Green Manuring -It is a practice of ploughing in the green plant tissues grown in the field or adding green plants with tender twigs or leaves from outside and incorporating them into the soil for improving the physical structure as well as fertility of the soil. It can be defined as a practice of ploughing or turning into the soil, undecomposed green plant tissues for the purpose of improving the soil fertility.Thus it is related with Agriculture.

Green Manure are such crops which have already been uprooted but are stuffed under the soil. These woks as a cover crop which often grows primarily to add nutrients and organic matter to the soil to increase its fertility like nitrogen-fixing crops. It is grown for a specific period of time, and then incorporated into the soil while they are green. These are commonly associated with organic agriculture, and are considered essential for cropping systems. Traditionally, green manuring can be compared from crop rotation, which was used to allow soils to recover.
