Neoclassical literature : - This literature was prevalent in the age of Neoclassicism. The name given to movements in decorative art, music, literature, theater is Neoclassicism. These type of movements were dominant to mid eighteenth till the end of nineteenth century. Works done under Neoclassical movements are today considered as "classics".
Romantic literature : - It was the new style of writing which rose from the ashes of the Age of Reason. It was based on an individual rather than that society of whole. It was commonly called as sort of invidualism. In the age of Romanticism science fiction, fantasy, supernatural literature were brought. There were many writers of romantic and Gothic literature like Edgar Allen Poe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreu.
