Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology was invented in early 1980s by Eastman Kodak, it is used as display devices in which a carbon-based films are sandwiched between two charged electrodes, one a metallic cathode and one a transparent anode. The film thus made is also filled with some organic compounds (gas, liquid, or solid chemical compounds whose molecules contain carbon) which emits light when electric current is passed through it. It is used to make digital displays like, mobile screen, Computer screen, television screen, etc.
