Sleep paralysis is a stage between wakefulness and sleep, in this state a person feels inability to move and weakness in his/her muscles. It is often associated with terrifying visions. A person feels that he is awake and something really bad is happening with him/her, but he/she is not able to move even a finger and the body act like a paralyzed body. The term "Nightmare" is derived from this state. The most common reasons to face sleep paralysis are insomnia, sleep deprivation, an erratic sleep schedule, stress, overuse of stimulants and physical fatigue.
