"Super over" is a term used for tiebreakers in Cricket. In Twenty20 there can't be a tie, if there is a tie in Twenty20 cricket then it is decided by one over per side - "Super Over". The teams between whom the match is tied, nominates their three batsmen and one bowler, to play the "Super Over" i.e. to play one - over per side. If one of the team looses 2 wickets before the completion of the over, it loses the game. If this doesn't happen then the team who scored higher runs win the match. If a "Super Over also ends in a tie then the team with the higher number of sixes in their innings wins. If by chance, there is still a tie between the teams then the team with the higher number of fours wins.
