What is the difference between an amphibian and a reptile?

Amphibians and Reptiles both are the different categories of animals. The differences between them are : -
>> Reptiles live on land, water or both. Whereas amphibians born in water and spend their childhood in water in the form of larvae. amphibians grow into matures with the process of metamorphosis. After becoming matures they usually live on land. Some may live in water also.
>> The reptiles breathe through lungs, whereas young amphibians breathe through gills. But after becoming mature they also breathe through lungs. Some matures may have gills also. Amphibians breathe through pores on their skin or mouth.
>> The size of the reptiles are generally bigger than amphibians.
>> There are four groups of reptiles i.e. lizards and snakes, turtles and tortoises, crocodiles and tuatara, whereas the amphibians are divided in three groups frogs and toads, salamanders and caecillians.
