A lack of education may prevent a person from getting a reasonably paying job. The lack of education has many consequences depending upon whether the person is lacking a grade school, high school or college education. If a person lacks a grade school education, then its impact can be damaging. In this case person's reading skills may be seriously lacking and even non-existent. Illiteracy is an enormous social problem, which not only prevent a person from getting a job, but it can also be dangerous. People who can't read warning labels on medication packages may be at risk for overdose. And, it is also possible that they may be unable to read the expiry date on foods, raising the risk of a food-borne illness. Lack of education can be socially isolating as well. The person who lacks education may feel ashamed to interact with other people. The person may not be confident while talking with others. But, uneducated people should never feel ashamed of their status, they should take steps for their education. They can take short online classes or can hire a tutor to come into their homes.
