The legal age for donating blood is 17 years in almost every country, but you can register yourself at the age of 16 years. It can be less than 17 if doctors find you perfect for that. You can donate blood till the age of 66 years and it is 70 if you donated the blood before. The age is not the only factor which has to be noticed while donating. Your weight and height should be perfect for that. A male donor can give blood after every 12 weeks, which is approximately 3 months and a female donor can give blood in every 16 weeks, which is approximately 4 months.

It is 17, but you may give blood before 17, if you are totally fit.
