The 19th amendment in the U.S. constitution guarantees that women have a right to vote. It is referred to as the 'Susan B. Anthony amendment'. This amendment was passed by Congress on 4th June 1919, when the Congress submitted the amendment to the states for ratification. The 19th amendment was ratified on 18th August 1920.
