Dietary Fibers are considered that part of plant foods which remain undigested and is also called as roughage or ruffage. They primarily help to improve the digestion of our body but it also reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and obesity. Some of the foods that are rich in dietary fibers are: oat, barley, carrot, banana, apple and potato.
