    Actually there are a few different kinds and they come in different sizes and they come with a needle attached in a sterile package. some are meant to be absorbed by ur body so the doctor doesnt need to remove them. others need to be removed once ur wound heals.

    There are many different types of suture thread. It is regulated like a prescription, which means in the U.S. at least, you can't just go buy it somewhere. Sewing something up is much more of a skill than people realize. there is some potential to do more harm than good by sewing things up yourself.

    There are different types of threads which is used in hospitals. But basically they are of two types in which one gets dissolved in the body with certain time and the other is need to be removed once the wound heals. They generally comes with a needle attached in a sterile package.
