What were the "Basic Seven" food?

According to the nutritive content the recommended food groups are grouped. In 1942 the "Basic Seven" food groups were listed. After that it reduced to the "Basic Four" in 1956. Then USDA included 6 foods out of them in its "food pyramid", then it was modified in 2005 to stress 5 larger value and 1 (fats) of smaller value.
The "Basic Seven" food which were listed in 1942 were : -
>> Green and Yellow Vegetables
>> Oranges, Tomatoes and Grapefruit
>> Potatoes and Other Vegetables and Fruit
>> Milk and Milk Products
>> Bread, Flour and Cereals
>> Butter and Fortified Margarine
