"Zinc" is the metal which is used in the coating of Galvanized Iron sheets. The same metal can be used in the Galvanization of steel as well. The iron or steel sheets are galvanized in order to prevent it from Rusting. Zinc acts as a protective metal and in the molten zinc, these sheets are kept in order to protect it from Rusting.
