Many religions don't say you to eat meat, they are against that. Hinduism has most vegetarians than any other religion. About 30% of Hindu are vegetarian, which means approx 1.2 billion people, Jainism doesn't allow to eat meat, Buddhism also not allowed to eat meat, but their monks are suggested to accept food, whatever they get. Sikhism has two groups, one can eat meat and another one is not as same as Christianity. Judaism also prefers to eat veg. Some religions like Islam and Rastafari are allowed to eat meat, but not the pork.
