The "Beverley McLachlin" is the first woman to become the chief Justice of Canada and is currently holding this position from 7th January, 2000. She started her career as a judge when she was appointed as Judge of the County Court of Vancouver (Canada) in the year 1981. She was born on 7th September, 1943 in Pincher Creek, Alberta.
