The Bhagavad Gita, being a part of the Mahabharata, contains a conversation between Pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Lord Krishna on a variety of theological and philosophical issues. The epic Mahabharata is traditionally ascribed to the Sage Ved Vyasa.Hence it is written by Maharishi Ved Vyas only.Many commentaries have been written on the Bhagavad Gita with widely differing views on the essentials, later by many scholars.
