Why do we Yawn?

    There is no scientific explanation of this. But the most often repeated answer is that, a yawn is helpful for drawing large amounts of air to increase blood pressure, blood oxygen level and heart rate. These changes improve alertness and helping to wake us up when we are tired and bored.
