Why does my phone say "phone not allowed mm6"?

    There may be a couple of reasons behind this and they could be: >> The handset could be unable to register on the network. >> May be the device has been reported lost or stolen. However, you have not mentioned whether it worked before and showing this problem for the first time or not. You can take your phone to the nearest service station in this case.

    I've had this phone for almost a year now and nothing like this ever happened. I've also always had this simcard. Nothing changed. Last night I just tried to make a phone call but it said "no network available" but I could chat on BBM. Then I switched off my phone because that's what I usually do when I have a network problem but when I switched it back on, it started showing that message. But Thank You. I will take it to a MTN store to find out.
