According to the officials of the Maruti Suzuki they have decided to one day shut down on 9/3/2013 due to the market slowdown. The company's Gurgaon plant rolls out models, including the M800, Alto series, WagonR, Estillo, Dzire and Ertiga. It has a capacity to roll out between 3,500 and 4,000 units a day but the company's total passenger car sales in the domestic market dipped by 10.89 percent as compared to last month. So just to deal with the market slowdown this decision has been taken, and it is expected that from 10/3/2013 the plant will work normally.
