In a Study it has been found that generally people read 25% slower on a computer screen in comparison with a printed page. In an eyetracking test it was found that we read the web pages in a pattern known as F-shaped pattern while we are on computer screen. And in this pattern our eye moves in two horizontal stripes followed by a vertical stripe. And this leads to the slower rate of reading.
