Can an average person make their feet flexible like a ballet dancer's if they put their mind to it?

I fully understand that professional ballet dancers are part of a small population that has just the right body type for ballet. But there are plenty of ballet dancers who don't make it to the professional level that still have very flexible feet, so I'm hoping that it is possible to improve my feet's flexibility too! :) I am not a dancer but I am active (I run 30+ miles per week) and I want to improve the strength and flexibility in my feet. I'm willing to work hard for it. So is it possible to get wildly flexible feet if I'm not a ballet dancer?

You can build a strong flexible foot as long as you weren’t born with a certain type of flat feet which is pretty rare. You cannot change the height of your arch however as that is bone structure. Professional ballet dancers are born with a high Instep which is bone structure. Many professional modern dancers aren’t born with that high arched bone structure but they have built strong flexible feet mostly through ballet training which is major part of any professional dancer’s training except for tap. There are many exercises you can do such as working with a theraband, gathering up a towel up with your toes and doming your feet. Any work on your feet should be proceeded by warming up your feet first. Keep in mind all that running is a little bit counterproductive to building a strong flexible foot as you are pounding your feet on a hard surface when you run. You aren’t lifting your arches. Dancers training for a ballet career aren’t allowed to run as it mostly messes with their hip turnout as well as the affect it may have on their foot strength and flexibility. Whatever you do to work your feet in building strength and flexibility, never force them or overwork them. You can end up with chronic tendentious if you do.
