A literary device for an idea that is usually believed to be the opposite?

like the idea that "To be successful, scientists must embrace uncertainty. " meaning it sounds abnormal to think that being unsure of something is actually the correct way of doing something. Is there actually a literary device for this? thanks a bunch if anyone can find it.
