Go to a professional tattoo/piercing place and ask them (- and make sure to look up reviews before you go!!). They'd be best at telling you, since there are other factors to getting a piercing. One of my friends wanted to get her tongue pierced but found out she couldn't because there was a huge vein running through the middle of her tongue - so there might be more to it than just shape.
