Up to 10 days for many items, depending on how far it is going. It could take longer. USPS does not guarantee delivery by X time period, especially with media mail.

Media mail is the slowest possible way to send something. Sometimes it is surprisingly prompt, but sometimes it takes weeks or even months. Media mail is "space available" mail. Meaning if there isn't space on that transport leg, it's going to sit and wait until there is space. Media mail tends to be slower to places like Alaska and Hawaii.

Media Mail is about the lowest priority mail in the US. The Postal Service makes no guarantees about when it will arrive. Ebay sellers and the like often use it, because it is so cheap. In my experience, it usually arrives in about two weeks. I suspect that the seller did not immediately ship it to you, even if he said so. Also, you ordered it during the height of the Christmas rush.
