Have jet planes ever been used as kamikaze weapons?

9/11 obviously, as was mentioned here already. Other than that, none. If you want to be creative, you could include target drone aircraft like the Ryan Firebee of the Cold War era. It was definitely a jet airplane. It didn't slam into other targets and explode, thus committing drone suicide... it was rather a sacrificial lamb and would buzz around dumb and happy, until someone's AIM-4 missile slammed into it and lit it up. Thus committing drone suicide.

Yes, a few years back, there were some Muslims funded by Saudis, funded by Jews who did that.

Right at the end of WW2 the Japanese had developed a manned jet or rocket to be used as a kamikazes if the home islands were invaded, since there was no invasion they were never used. If I remember correctly the code name was "Cherry Blossom""

I have not heard of that, but I have heard of a bomb that was fashioned into a glider, and remotely steered into enemy targets

Japan did not have any purely jet propelled aircraft in active service during WW2, but had a rocket propelled suicide flying-bomb: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokosuka_MXY-7_Ohka They were developing one, pretty similar to the Me 262, intended for anti-ship attack including suicide : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakajima_Kikka but the first prototype first flew the day *after* the Hiroshima bombing, which pretty much shows that it was not really pertinent anymore.

Too expensive. Too much investment in the pilot/jet when what they fire/drop does much more damage. If a jet pilot ever did that, only him and God will ever know cause he d**n sure didn't call it in on his radio.
