In high speed curves and straighaways can my car keep up with either of the cars?
My car is an 03 Honda Element 4 spd automatic and I'm comparing the a 98 Altima auto and a 2006 Mazda 3i 5 speed.

The Honda Element has a high center of gravity, so you have to be careful on curves.

Everyday driving is not a race with other cars. If your car is in good condition and your engine has been maintained properly, your car will "keep up" just fine with any other cars on the road. All the cars you mentioned are very similar in terms of performance.
