Why do people drive so slowly?

Either cautious, old, high, or they're going the speed limit and only seem slow because you have to be in a hurry. Why do people drive so fast?

You! YOU!! You were the one! I checked to make sure the space beside me was clear, and signaled to change from the middle lane to the right-hand lane in preparation for my exit. I was doing about 5 mph less than the speed limit. As I pulled into my new lane, YOU came up beside me at about 90 mph. I pulled back into the lane I was changing from, did not fishtail excessively, somehow retained control, DID NOT HIT YOUR CAR, and did not put the horse trailer ahead of my truck. Apparently I was going far too slowly, as were most of the other cars.
