03 town car door ajar light keeps coming on, causes panic alarm if locked?

Did you check the door switch that opens when the door is open? Is the door actually closing fully? Note: That isn't the panic alarm. It is the THEFT alarm. When you lock the door, the alarm system is activated and when the system thinks the door is open, it sets of the alarm.
