Do big bank back up every employee's computer every night?

Just left a bank, very concerned with what happened to my personal data ( I forgot to delete them)

They will usually back up their internal network home drive, but not necessarily the whole computer.

Normally any company that's large enough to have an IT department does backups daily. It's the only way that their data can be retrieved should any major failure occur. In fact partial backups are certainly performed also at intervals during the business day. In today's world of computers, it's realistic to assume that all companies large or small are doing frequent backup simply because we now have servers of all sizes to accommodate any business and the software to run them is commonplace. So in respect to your question the companies don't back up every computer since the "computers" you mean are really work stations and typically they feed data directly to the servers and it's not stored on the individual work stations.
