EGPU for laptop without thunderbolt port?
My laptop doesn’t have a thunderbolt 3 port but I need a graphics upgrade. So I was wondering if there’s an egpu that doesn’t require a thunderbolt port or if there’s an adapter for this

There were some video card docks that supported ExpressCard, which like a mobile version of PCI-Express, but I've never actually seen a laptop with an ExpressCard slot since they stopped making them around 2009-2010. Thunderbolt is generally necessary because USB 2.0 and potentially 3.0 aren't fast enough for any kind of decent graphics card. That, and Thunderbolt also outputs video.
