Could by earphones get damaged by loud music?

Because now when I listen to loud sounds, there comes weird buzzing from one of the earphones, but when I gave them a break it stopped. Could this be due to too lous music?

Yes, you can destroy earphones by playing music too loud through them - the drive units (the parts that convert the electrical signal to movement, and produce sound) move and expand too far, and they can burst or warp out of shape. Now imagine what it's doing to your eardrums.

Turn the volume down and LEAVE it down. Whenever anything sounds bad, it isn't right.

Don't worry about the 'phones. Worry about what you're doing to your ears.
