Help with TV please?

65inch TV. Only used it for maybe 3 months when suddenly the screen would go black for a few seconds and turn back on.It would do this very rarely for a few days.few days later it went blank and never came back. Blue screen. Have sound turns on.Just no picture.Backlight is on.I found out that my son may have spilled milk in the bottom corner of the screen. Now I have read up on this and am aware that it "could" be the tcon board or the panel I'd like some advise as I'd like to know how i can narrow it down to know if what part and if it's even worth investing my time. Thank you

Your best bet is taking it to a TV repair shop. Boards are available, but be careful about used or "pulled" ones --- a lot of those are bad. Expect to pay $85 and up (likely about $100) for a good board; more if the repair shop buys it for you. If the panel (screen) has been damaged, it can't be repaired, and the replacement part alone will cost as much as or more than the price of a new TV. Add labour to that, and you're in way too deep. One good thing about having a professional do the job: If anything goes wrong, all it costs you is a longer wait to get the TV back.
